Thank you for visiting KendriyaVidyalaya NAMKUM School's website. Today the role of a school is not only to impart knowledge that encompasses the prescribed syllabi of the institution but that of the world beyond the class room. It is the role of the school to build and strengthen character that will not crumble when tested in the crucible of adulthood, and to develop qualities of good leadership that can be employed in the future for the creation of a superior nation. There is an old Chinese adage “When planning for a year, plant corn; When planning for a decade; plant trees; When planning for life, educate people.” KV NAMKUM prides itself on the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual development of its students. It is our constant endeavour to shape well-rounded personalities that will contribute positively to the world around them.
For the development of all round personality of our students, we work tirelessly to carefully assemble a diversified calendar of events each year that fits into the scheduled time frame of the academic year. We aim to provide sufficient opportunities to each student to discover and understand themselves, and face and overcome challenges presented to them to make school life fulfilling and complete. The aim behind all our co-curricular and academic activities is not only to impart bookish knowledge but to provide the environment for young minds to take wing. It is the role of a school to instil desirable qualities in their students and this can be done when we provide appropriate situations that require individuals to step up to be leaders when the need arises.
Being a comparatively a new school we have had to work very hard to be what we are today. I often tell our staff members & students “If you not number one -you have to strive harder”.
I would like to gratefully acknowledge the hard work and efforts of all the staff members who have worked tirelessly with passion and commitment which has helped us to realize our goals.
In the end, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our Dy. Commissioner, KVS(RO), Ranchi, Mr. D. Manivannan & Chairman VMC, Brigadier Ravi Patil, V.S.M., 61 Infantry Brigade, Namkum (Ranchi), for being a constant source of inspiration.
Last but not least I would like to thank the parents of our students for having bestowed your faith and confidence in us.
God Bless you all.
